Job Summary

We are seeking a reliable and motivated Amazon Delivery Driver to safely and efficiently deliver packages to customers. The ideal candidate is customer-focused, organized, and able to work independently while meeting delivery schedules. Drivers will operate company-provided delivery vehicles, follow assigned routes, and ensure packages are delivered accurately and on time.

Key Responsibilities

• Safely operate a company delivery van following all traffic laws and safety regulations.
• Load and organize packages before starting delivery routes.
• Deliver packages to residential and commercial customers within assigned delivery areas.
• Use a mobile device and GPS navigation to locate delivery addresses and update delivery status.
• Obtain proof of delivery when required.
• Inspect the delivery vehicle before and after each shift and report any maintenance issues.
• Handle packages carefully to prevent damage during transportation.
• Maintain excellent customer service and represent the company professionally.
• Follow company policies and Amazon delivery standards.
• Return undelivered packages and complete end-of-day procedures.

Qualifications

• Valid G driver's license (or equivalent, depending on location).
• Clean driving record.
• Ability to pass a background check.
• Previous delivery or driving experience is an asset but not required.
• Comfortable using smartphones, GPS, and delivery applications.
• Strong time management and organizational skills.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to work independently and in a fast-paced environment.

Physical Requirements

• Lift and carry packages weighing up to 50 lbs (23 kg).
• Walk frequently and climb stairs throughout the day.
• Enter and exit the delivery vehicle multiple times during each shift.
• Stand, bend, and reach for extended periods.
• Work in various weather conditions, including rain, snow, and heat.
